BetterMe is an app that has lots to offer. In the free version of the app, you will have access to sleep audios, breathing exercises for specific emotions and scenarios, relaxing sounds and music, as well as a daily plan to follow.
Breathwrk: Breathing Exercises
Breathwrk is a mobile app that guides you through a series of breathing exercises. It has several categories, each with their own set of breathing exercises. Even with the free version of their app, there is still a good number of available exercises for you to try.
Brighter Bite - ED Recovery
Brighter Bite is a cute mobile app that provides you with guidance as you make your recovery journey. The app allows you to track your food intake without tracking calories, log your eating behaviors (restricted, binged, etc.), identify your triggers, track your mood, and much more. The app also offers a variety of resources ranging from book recommendations to a "Coping Chat" with 20+ therapeutic techniques.
Calm Harm - Manage Self-Harm
Calm Harm is a mobile app that provides alternatives for self harm. It creates a list of activities based on five categories: comfort, distract, express yourself, release, and random. You can choose between either a 5 minute activity or a 15 minute activity. In addition to this feature, Calm Harm also offers breathing exercises and a self monitoring section.
Finch: Self Care Widget Pet
Finch is an app where you raise a finch pet by completing self-care goals and sending your finch on daily adventures. The app offers journaling prompts, quizzes, breathing exercises, and much more. You can save up rainbow stones and purchase outfits and accessories for your finch. The app also has a social element where you can invite your friends to your Tree Town and support each other through uplifting actions.
I Love Hue
I Love Hue is a de-stressing game that requires you to rearrange mosaics of colored tiles into perfectly ordered spectrums. This game is not only satisfying, but great for when you need a break.
MindDoc: Your Companion
MindDoc is a mood tracking app that gives you psychologist-provided surveys to complete. After 14 days, you will receive an assessment of your emotional health based on the daily surveys. After the first assessment, the process repeats so you can monitor your progress. The app offers courses and exercises that you can complete along with access to online-counseling treatments.
Perspective, A Mindful Journal
Perspective is a weekly mood tracker and journal. It includes journaling prompts and the ability to add images to the user's journal entry.
Tappy: Self Care Fidgeter
Tappy is a mobile app (also available on the Apple Watch) that includes a wide selection of fidget devices and mini games. This app is meant to help reduce stress and anxiety in a fun and satisfying way. The app offers visual, audio, and sensory stimuli.
Worrydolls
Worrydolls is a mobile app that allows you to tell your worries to dolls. You can choose to tell the doll something or end the worry. The app will then prompt you with a reflection question. Worrydolls helps you express your anxious thoughts in a harmless way.
